hi all,

i m using autocad2009 in my office n i have a question that can we get multiple linetype in single polyline (having multiple vertex)

means if we have one rectangle & i want to cahnge the line type of only lower line of that rectangle & remaining three sides remain same (by layer or whatever we choose)

is it possible without exploding? asx if we explode it then it is of no use for us.

No.
One option would be to use a separate line or polyline for the lower line and then make a block or group out of the objects.

hi sir,

i have made it by your suggestion (by group) & hurreyyyyyyyyyy there was no problem at all to do my work as i was wrking before.

thanks

but making it block will be a problem as we can not stretch or change its properties.

but group is the best solution.
that was tought us while training but thanks to u for reminding me.

thanks again.

Using dynamic blocks, you can stretch a block, change it's properties, etc. and still keep one line different than the other 3.
