Modeling and Rendering

Hi,
I created a structural Model and trying to take a rendering Model out but the rendering button is not active...
Can any one know the reason?

I will assume this is Revit.

Firstly you need to be in a 3D view. If this is the case my next guess would be you did not install the rendering library during the installation of the software.

You can check by looking in your program files
Program Files\Autodesk Revit Structure 2010\Data\Rendering\assetlibrary_base.fbx

If the asset file is missing you need to install the rendering library.

If it's AutoCAD then you might be in more serious trouble as this is built in.

Yes mate this is in Revit 2009

I checked the rendering library it is not there do I need to reinstall the Revit to get the rendering library back or can I get an update or download from site.
