This may help some people.

GeForce 4 ti4200, 128Mb 4xAGP card.

I had awful slow-down with 7.0, and terrible graphics deterioration/degradation with OpenGL switched on. I was using NVidea 56.06 drivers.

Changed video drivers to NVidea 44.03. Now OpenGL is cool, full acceleration and no degrading of image.

Video drivers may be an issue to take care of. Hope this may help some folks.

Spoke too soon!

Still get some graphics degradation, but drivers still better, so above is only a small tip.

Have you upgraded to directX 9?
just a thought from one of the other threads...

AR,

Yes, latest Directx etc. But as an update, I am now not having any serious degradation with 44.03 drivers, full acceleration and with OpenGL on and 'use overlay planes...' also on. Dont know exactly why it got better, but it seemed to sort itself following checking boxes off and restarting Revit, then checking them on and restarting.........beats me.

Sometimes when zooming in horizontal lines will break but reforms with a slight zoom out. It is not perfect but darn close.
