Building Systems Intro on ATP

If you are curious about the Building Systems package or have started using it and feeling overwhelmed, there is a very basic introduction course for November on the free AUGI ATP program.

There are three segments and a special forum for the course. To participate in the course, click on the Education tab at the top of the page here. Then follow the left hand menu to current ATP courses.

[DC Fundamentals]

I'm trying to change the font style for my device tags and device circuit tags. I went into the AEC content folder and found the dwg. that is associated with the the tag tool, and edited the attributes to style required. When I right click on the tool in the tool palette the font looks fine in the object viewer, however when I attach it to an object in my drawing I still get the standard font. If anybody has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

What style did you assign to those tags?

If Standard it will continue to revert, chose a new stlye
say TAGS, and try that one.

I didn't assign any style, I just modified the text style of the attribute. Where and what style should be change ?

If you're doing that through Style Manager, but sure you copy that to your current drawing or be sure that your properties of the tool on your palette are associated with the new style.
