Leader with unassociated text...

Where I work, we don't use multileaders and leaders with associated text. And I've grown tired of copying text, moving it to a leader, and editing it. So I'm trying to make a lisp that draws a leader with unassociated text. What I have so far works as far as drawing a leader except that I can't see the leader while I am picking the points. Does anyone know the coding to be able to see it? And I am unfamiliar with how to code mtext in a lisp. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm unsure ... doesn't the QLEADER command do this already? It's still available.

Here is the one that I use everyday. It works with rotations of 0 or 90 but can be made to work with all.
