error when loading gps survey

when i xref in a gps survey in to my drawing i get this message scrolling up -" ERROR: Could not instantiate AecDict!"
does anyone know what this means and how do i remedy if necessary?

thanks for that. still doesnt seem to be a quick solution out there. but as they say in france "merci buckets".
