Important tips on upgrading a Workset file from 6.1 (or prior) to 7.0:

Make sure all data is saved back to the central file in 6.1 - the 6.1 local files are "disposable" at this point and will need to be recreated once the file is upgraded.
Open the central file in 7.0 - if you choose to re-save the cental file as a new central file, do this in a brand new / clean directory - DO NOT OVERWRITE THE EXISTING CENTRAL FILE!
Save local files back to the users local machines, again do this in a brand new / clean directory - DO NOT OVERWRITE ANY EXISTING LOCAL FILES!
Double-check to make sure you have a "sufficient" number of backup being created - at a minimum, you should have at least one backup for every member of your Workset team to improve the likelihood that each team members data is saved as part of the backups.
Note: As a general guideline, if you are "close" to project completion or a critical deadline, do not upgrade the file to the latest release until you have planned time to climb the learning/upgrade curve of the new release. This is true of any project, not just Workset projects.
