View Full Version : AutoCAD copy and move commands with Eagle Point

I have a landscape division using Eagle Point 3.3 on an XP O/S. When the user loads Eagle Point, it begins an AutoCAD session. While working in CAD, and trying to move or copy an entity, after the entity is selected, it disappears from view. The move or copy commands act as they should while just AutoCAD is running. Is there a conflict going on here?

I think you might need some sort of object enabler
for Eagle Point points to work properly in ACAD
as even in Land desktop they behave more like
blocks than point objects.
That or they might be 3D objects and you have a
front clipping plane set that is hiding them.

Also try insert that dwg as an exploded block into a new
drawing and see how it behaves.

perhaps post a sample file with say a half dozen such points
in it here to the site, or direct to me for better examination.

Hi Jason

Please note I've *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Customization (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=118) Forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

Thanks, Mike
