Elevation Surface Property Data Entry

I am struggling to find the settings for controlling the precision within the data entry dialog box. I have set the precision to two decimal places and it shows up correctly in the chart as shown in the attached image (Elev_Table.jpg), but entering the data in the dialog box I have to mentally keep track of what I had entered because it seems to be rounding the number as shown in the attached image (Elev_Table_Dialog.jpg).

I would like to set the precision so that I can see exactly what I have entered into the dialog box, but I have yet to find the settings that controls this.

Any thoughts?

It looks like that display is controlled by Drawing Settings -> Ambient Settings -> Elevation.

That was it. I had it set for an override precision of (2) or 0.00, but evidently the override does not work and seems meaningless. Setting the precision in the ambient settings does work.
