I am new to tables and just found out that I cannot insert annotative blocks into them. Aside from making separate identical blocks that are not annotative, has anyone found a way to insert annotative blocks into tables?

Well, I assume you have at least 2008 which was the first year for annotative blocks and tables in 2008 definitely do not allow annotative blocks. I do not know about 2009 or 2010 they may I'm not sure. However, if you just place a regular or attributed block in a table in model space then create a viewport for the table in paper space at a 1 to 1 scale you would not need an annotative block or if possible just the annotative block table in the paperspace. Another way is to place a regular in a table using the scale to fit table cell opinion then adjust the size of your table cell. Sorry but I believe thats the best you can do for right now. If 2009 or 2010 does not allow for annotative blocks, you could summit it as a wishlist item.
