Is there a way to scan my local directory for non-vaulted files ? I haven't erased any of the files I've worked on and have probably 2500+ files on my local drive and would like to clean up a bit.
I don't dare erase everything in case I delete something I'll need for a client later.
Any ideas ?
Thanx in advance
Pierre

Hi Pierre,
I'm not a Vault guru, but I have been using it for about two years. What software packages are you using with Vault?
Normally as you check a file into Vault, you can either delete the file out of your workspace, or you can create a read-only file in your workspace (the master file saved to Vault of course). This is the process for AutoCAD and Inventor - I don't have any experience with other programs. So with that said, if you can come up with a way to separate out your read-only files, then what's left would be the files not checked into Vault. It wouldn't hurt to double-check a few of the read-only files against Vault just to be safe. I hope this points you in the right direction Pierre.
