I bought a new pc, 64-bit. However I have a 32-bit ACA 2008 and it is not compatiable. is there some way I can install this on my new pc?

I thought the newer versions had an install option for either 32 or 64 bit. Might want to talk to your reseller if you have one.

See this thread (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=106115). Ignore the Win7 part, just see the x64 part. (Vanilla) A2008-32 bit would not install on a 64 bit system. A2009/A2010 detect 32/64 bit and install accordingly.

on this thread it says, "this involves a risk".What kind of risk?

I don't know but if Micros**t say there are known compatibility problems but you run it anyway, you have to accept that there is some risk. The limited amount of testing that I did revealed no problem.
