Inventor VBA import question

Greetings and salutations,

complete VBA noob here, ready to learn but need fix quick. How do I write a VBA macro (routine, prog, module, whatever) that imports a .styxml file and sets it as "Active" ?

I work with old drawings and need to update them as I modify them. Batch update is not an option, too many things can go wrong.

I posted this in the VBA section, and was told to post elsewhere, so I came here. Please help.

I have tried this in the past and struggled with it.
I was trying to add overall dimensions to a flat pattern when the view is placed, and haven't been able to specify the style.
I second your request for information.
