printing hidden

why is it that when i print hidden do i loose some of my pipe lines. if i print in 3d hidden then i get all the lines but the plot is in color.
please help

Are you using style based Pens (STB) or Color Based (CTB) pen styles.

Check you plot sheet pen settings. For some reason, once in a while, you'll have layers set to "Default" pen settings. Default for STB usually prints the color of the object if I remember right. Depending on how you created the sheet, you may want to re-set the visretain setting, flip it, get your correct pen setups from your view and then change it back.
