We are needing a solution. We have a project that has many componants. Dealing with a large construction project with many floor levels and three people working on it, we are at a dilema. We are having trouble when we need more than 1 person in the project. We have a folder and subfiles that we have divided the project into. This makes it very inconvenient to reference off of. I have tryed using xref. but it slows down the file dramaticly. Making it almost impossible to work in. If you have a solution it would be appreciated. Thank you

When you XREF files, under options/ "open & save" ... is it set to "Enable w/ copy" or disable? Try that.
Also set LAYOUTREGENCTL to ZERO. Maybe 1 if you need to ....
Look up LAYOUTREGENCTL under help in AutoCAD for a better understanding of what it does. 8-)
Maybe someone else will chime in with some more tips ....
Later guy.

Hi
Please note I've *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Customization (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=118) Forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike
