Summary: Update weld standards to latest AWS A2.4:2007
Description: I would like to have the Style and standards editor for the weld symbols to have there reference updated on the latest ansi/aws A2.4 and ISO-2553 standards. Currently the Ansi/aws A2.4 is based on the 1993 standard and the Iso 2553 is based on the 1984 standard. The weld symbols in Autocad mechanical have been updated to the Ansi/aws A2.4-1998 and the ISO 2553-1992 This would be a good starting point.
How Used: I would feel confident that the engineers utilizing these tools would be using the correct standards as referenced by Many ISO compliant companies.
