Hi

Please note I've *moved* this thread from the New Users (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=47) Forum to this one as I believe it would be better served here.

Below snippet is taken from the small print found on the Forum General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=44) page ( Click HERE (http://forums.augi.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=28398) to see a screen capture )...

JD, try the following sites. The first is Charles Bliss excellent site (I've given you the power trans page address) which contains all sorts of great Inventor parts and other great goodies. The 2nd is Sean Dotson's site (power trans page), and like Charles's, its a great site not only for parts, but also excellent Inventor add-ins, etc.

If you are on subscription you can download Design Accelerator which includes a complete gear design section for Inventor 9. This includes the capability to custom design spur, bevel and worm gears. Login to Autodesk, and on the subscription home page is a link to download this extension. The Design Accelerator will be included in Inventor 10 which is due to be released late first quarter or second quarter 2005.
