Window tags missing?

I'm working on Revit 2009.

I insert a window, everythinng shows up as intended. I try to make a copy (either hold-down "ctrl" and drag or "right-click" and "create similar"). when the copied window insterts, the window tag is missing.

I go to the element properties and see the tag is in fact there and with the proper tag number.

I go to the schedules, adding the "count" category and double check the count and find that it is in fact accounted for.

So what am I missing?

That is by default in Revit so what you can do is go to the Drafting Menu and select Tag All Not Tagged and it will ask you to select the correct tag type for your windows and then tag all the ones not tagged.
