section height

I'm pretty new to civil 3d, and i'm creating setions with 5x exaggeration. Problem is this exaggerates the height of the section axis too.

I have tried adjusting the section height but this then loses the section itself and I am just left with the section box and vertical lines only.

Does anyone knw how to adjust this to a normal size?

Check your section view style and set your padding to 0.
