Has anyone ever tried to use stationing labels for grids and dimensioning in REVIT Structure 2010? I was hoping to create a parametric relationship between a stationing label and the shared coordinate system within the project. Does anyone have any idea of how to accomplish this?

By stationing for example: 6X+500, 7X+000, 7X+500, 8X+000 etc...

The project is set up with a shared coordinate using state plane coordinates. (Northing = some number and Easting = some number). I want to relate one station point (1X+000) to that shared coordinate point such that when I dimension to any point or structure it will show as a stationing point (6X+232) as oppose to a length in meters.

My initial thought was to create a family that takes a dimension length from a reference plane and labels it as a station buy using a formula in the type parameters, however I am not quite sure how to write the formula to accomplish this.

Thank you for any help/advice.
