I am looking after a method or a plugin to export a surface from Civil 3D into 3ds Design 2010.
If it is only one surface, it works fine if I save the file in 2007 version as a contour lines... then import the dwg fil into 3ds design. But it becomes problematic when it is more than one surface... and the results is something that that I cant use.
I have tried Dymanite VSP export plugin for Civil 3d, and Dynamite VSP import plugin for 3ds design. I works perfect, but the price for that plugin is to high for the export/import purpose. Therefore would I like to know if there is a similar export/import plugin somewhere?
Or can I expect to find these functions in future Civil 3d/3ds Design versions?
