View Full Version : Green Building Studio free with Ecotect Subscription?

I upgraded several licenses of Ecotect 5 to Autodesk Ecotect 2010. When I did this our reseller informed us that Ecotect subscriptions included access to Green Building Studio. Even the CD sleeve had an insert with a website to gain access to this. The website provided (http://www.autodesk.com/ecotect-analysis-support) gives an error that the page doesn't exist and I can't find anywhere on the subscription website where I can setup access to GBS.

Has anyone gone through this process or have some advice to how to do it?

Hi Troy,
I was able to reach the URL this morning. If you are still having trouble you can go to the main Ecotect Analysis webpage, and navigate within there:
www.autodesk.com/ecotect-analysis

In answer to your question, when you registered for subscription you should have received an e-mail from the Green Building Studio instructing you to validate the e-mail address associated with your new account. We do have a record of your firm purchasing Ecotect Analysis with subscription, which entitles you to Green Building Studio. I suspect the validation e-mail may have ended up in your spam folder. For tips on locating this e-mail, please refer to this knowledge base article: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=13820479&linkID=13734494

If you need further assistance, please contact the sales fulfillment team at sales.gbs@autodesk.com

I've been working with my reseller and the regional Autodesk rep and still can't seem to get an email that has the validation in it. My IT staff have reviewed all the possible places an email could have gone and they said it doesn't appear to have ever reached our end. I have tried setting up a trial account on the GBS website and can receive email from it.

Whats the best way to get this resolved as we have people ready to use the GBS website on projects?

Hi Tony,
Please review this Knowledge Base article to see if any of the suggestions in it resolve your problem.
http://www.autodesk.com/ecotect-analysis-knowledge-base and search for the term "validation".

Our records show that your account is registered using the email address: tgates@xxlpainc.com
This is where the messages are being sent.

If this doesn't help, please contact the subscription for support: http://www.autodesk.com/subscriptionlogin
