Hi,

You need to "edit" the walkthrough and edit key frames to do what you seek.
Got to a view of the path (show camera then edit walkthrough), and in edit mode select the relevant "keyframes" you are interested in and adjust their properties relative to what your camera target view is to be, save then run it again to see changes.
Changes can only be made at keyframe locations so if you intend to try and pause at the foot or top of the stairs for instance, you might need to add some more keyframes to increase your flexivbility.
Note also that you can only slow the motion down to a medium walk by entering in 0.10 speed and removing "unifrom speed" check box in the edit frames dialogue. Revit tool will only let you slow it down to this and no more (I think this is too fast but it is a "walkthrough" after all and not a tour)

You cannot stop and pan with this tool.
If you want the viewer to stop at a place , look around then carry on, you will export the avi file to a video editor and make your transitions from there.
