grading BASICS

HAI TO ALL
iam very new in c3d and also basically from mechanical field, but now iam working in landscaping as a drafts man. last 2 years i was with small projects , which needs limited use of c3d, but now we got some big projects which asks to do grading plan, cut AND FILL. so pls any body can explain about this things and how to do this in civil 3d? it will very helpfull for me..

You should be able to find some webcast on grading.
Training would also be a good option, you can even get on-line training nowadays.

can you refer any good training manuals or books that concentrate on grading?

you can find a lot of training videos on youtube. you can also find a lot of documentation on the AU website. Hopefully this helps.
