I need to have a line in a schedule that reads "not used". The reason has more to do with a bull-headed manager than anything else. So. How do I make the software do something it probably wasn't intended to do?
I thought about creating a block and, by using classifications, force the door schedule to schedule the block which would have a property value of "not used" for the mark. Of course, that throws off my quantities and totals for the schedule.
Is there a better way to do this?

So you would have a bunch of doors off to the side of your model just so they can be labeled as not used?? That seems crazy. If it's not in the door schedule, it's not used!!
I'm not sure that can be done without screwing up your totals as you said. Maybe just add to the bottom of the schedule and manually do it with text and lines?

Sigh. Thanks for your reply. At least I know that someone agrees with me on the oddity of the situation.
