It is my understanding that the Viewer can be used indefinitely and without a license for viewing, printing and exporting models. We want to make Revit Structure immediately available for engineers to use for viewing models and do not have the need for all of them to create or modify models therefore not needing the full-blown version. Our plan is to install Revit on all workstations and after all of the network licenses have been checked ou, subsequent engineers can then shift to the Viewer mode. Our sales contact was not sure if this was legitimate. Is anyone else using the Viewer in a capacity similar to what I have described? Is my understanding of the Viewer configuration accurate? The other option is to have someone create DWF of all models that we get and then View them in Design Review but that has its limitations also.
Thanks in advance.

Yes that is fine.

Once all your network licences are issued, Revit will alert you that no more are available and you can change it from network to demo mode to use the product as a viewer. No issues you can have it on every computer out there. Just make sure they realise they can't do anything to the model that will be permenant.
