Project Butterfly might be an alternative for some of you in terms of collaborating with others based on your designs created with AutoCAD.

is there somewhere else I can get this document? Our enterprise security won't allow me to go to this site. Thanks. We have invested heavily in retail work flows around Design Review. 1 thousand users and counting!

Hi "asaf.sagi".
I took a brief look. I like the web-based possibilities that Butterfly offers. I don't know how it would handle file version control; and where the files would be stored.

Our need is simple tools to measure area, and to have that data displayed automatically as it does in ADR 2010. Having a stand alone solution like ADR has it's advantages, especially as geographically spread out as my users are.

Take a look and see what you think!

Hi rmblazer
In Butterfly, an owner of a drawing can share it with anyone he wishes, and grant specific security permissions for each person.

Right now we don't support measuring in read-only permissions, but that feature will probably be implemented in the course of the next few months. You should stay tuned to our blog: http://autodeskbutterfly.wordpress.com/
