jpegs on non rendered elevations

I am trying to put a company logo on an un rendered elevation, but it seems to jump behind the model, and there is no bring to front command. In the help file it tells me added decals display as a crossed box in all view other than rendered.

Which isn't much help.

I tried to add it to a family, but was informed that any jpegs won't display when placed.

So is there a way around this problem?

Try this:

Import the jpeg into your elevation. Change the view from hidden line to wireframe. Turn on & adjust the far clip plane of the elevation to mask out any stuff beyond you don't want in the view.

Thanks for your response, that is a helpful workaround.

But if I can get shadows and colours on my nice elevations, why not logo's!
Does this qualify as a wishlist item? It can't be that hard to rectify!

Have you tried placing your elevation on a sheet and then adding you logo?

You could create a blank title sheet and then just add what you want....
(Sorry, after re-reading your post, this is probably not going to help you)
