I would like to see a course on using AutoCAD with Excel to create bill of materials.

Thanks for your input! You are probably already aware that Architectural Desktop and Building Systems can do that automatically with schedules. You could do this with block attributes. Perhaps a little more information on what you are doing might find you some help in the meantime in the forums.
