I am trying to design a simple RC structure comprising beams, columns and slab in RSAP 2010. The geometry type is set to building design. I have been able to design beams and columns and calculated the "required reinforcement" for slabs. However when I go to the "provided reinforcement" for slabs, I can't find my slab in the display window. Has anyone experienced this? Any solutions please!!

When you are on Slab - required reinforcement layout, select your calculated slab and click RC Slab Design button which is located on the right.

Hi Tomasz, I tried that with no luck. I noticed the coordinate system (axis) reads local (bottom left of screen), and the cursor seems to be hovering on Level 0, whilst my slab is on level 4.25. Could that have something to do with it?

Please attach your file.

Somehow the revit file seems to be an invalid file type to attach

Ok sorry, just realized I could zip it.

There was a problem with this (for some models) in version 2010. But it's fixed. It works properly in version 2011.

OK thanks a lot for taking the time out to help. I really appreciate that!! I'll work with the "required reinforcement" option for now until we get the 2011. However, i modeled a slab on an elastic bedding and the "provided reinforcement" option worked.
