I have Autocad 2010 Mech:

and when I go to select soming and it is close to another object this command

ampoweredit

comes up
and a mouse and t says accapt or next I don't like this how do i get rid of?

I put ampoweredit in help menu and nothing comes up.

AMPOWEREDIT is the standard double click editing function of AutoCAD Mechanical. The reason you did not get anything in the help for this is because AutoCAD has two help sections. Go to the upper right next to the Help bubble in the Infocenter. Here you will find a pulldown for AutoCAD Mechanical Help and AutoCAD Help as well as the About AutoCAD Mechanical (this Infocenter is synonymous with the old About pulldown in the pull down menus)
