I'm trying to edit a family with tons of constraints. I want to change how one extrusion is constrained to another, but when I do that it whats me to "remove constraints" Normally that would be fine but in this case It will unconstrain other items I don't want. So I clicked on the item to manually unconstrain the item but when i click on it my locks dont show up. I have checked every item under "VG" that I can find and done everything I can think of.

Now if i select that object by using the "select by id" button then click show, I see the locks. At least I see them until i click ok, then they go away.

Figure one shows when I select a reference plane with my mouse and figure two shows me using the show feature under "select by id"

I'm lost...I need to to see those locks!!!

Right-click on a lock and pick Show Related. It will highlight the references of the lock. Does that help?

That wasn't what I was looking for but it did help! That solves another problem I had. My original problem is that I couldn't see the locks to click on them. But after work I was playing around at home and found the button on top that says "Activate Dimensions" and now I can see all the locks. They only show up until I click off of the selected item, but I can make them show again by clicking that magic button!

Thanks for the help.
