is there any way to order/sort the IN pipes when labeling a structure?
my boss wants to see the proposed in pipe either first or last, not in the middle.
in the profile text jpg, the text before 'fl. in' is the pipe description, manually entered.
in the profile text 2 jpg, the text in parenthesis is the pipe description, manually entered, and 'proposed fl. in' is manually entered in the label.

so the boss would like to see
ex. fl. in...
ex. fl. in...
prop. fl. in...

Not that I'm aware of. Perhaps it has something to do with the order the pipes where created? Just a thought.

Nope, it doesn't. This image shows several pipes coming into a manhole and one exiting and the associated label. No rhyme or reason that I can see.

Where there’s a will there’s a way. This type of power is why I love C3D.
I have mine setup to always have the outfall pipe on the bottom with a line above it and all incoming pipes above the line.

Line 1 anchors Str lbl to Dim
Line 2 anchors End of 1 to end of outgoing pipe (This works great because the length varies)
Outgoing txt anchors to line 1 to Incoming txt
Incoming txt above outgoing txt

It's a rough description, but here's a video showing it in use and the settings.

Bruce, that definitely works to control the IN vs. OUT issue but, the question was Existing vs. Proposed. In other words, he wants THIS inflow pipe to be listed before THAT inflow pipe. I'm at a loss on how to do that. If you have an idea, I would love to hear it! I was really hoping it had something to do with the order the pipes where created but that doesn't seem to be it.
