Hi

Does the following thread help -

Creating an eccentric reducing shape (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=7793)

Have a good one, Mike

There is an easier way than what is shown in the thread "creating an eccentric reducing shape". If you create the two ends of the elbow first (assuming your shape is similar to the one in the thread I mentioned). Draw a line ( any fashion you wish) from center point to center point of the two ends of the elbow. Then simply create a cylinder from the larger tube's center point as your cylinders center point and use the same diameter as the outer diameter of the larger end. Select the path option, now is were it is a little tricky. Then for the taper angle you'll half to do a simple trig problem (larger end's outer dia "-" small end's outer dia "=" your opposite side of your trig problem)(distance of the path line between large and small end "=" your adjacent side of your trig problem)[now arch tan of ("opposite value"/"adjacent value") "=" taper angle]. Once this is done select the line as your path and simply solid edit the tapered portion with the shell command to the desired thickness and union! This can also work with an arched path if you need a traditional elbow reducer.

NOTE : For some reason, for which I do not know, you may have to choose to extrude a circle along the path doe to you not able to choose path with the cylinder command. See for your self!

SORRY FOR ALL THE BRACKETS AND QUOTES, NO EASY WAY TO BREAK IT DOWN IN WORDS IN HERE

It LOOKS harder than it really is! You'll find that you won't have to slice a thing as long as your math is right and it only takes about 10 sec to punch in your calculator and another 1-2 min to set up the two ends of the reducing elbow.
