I wish to permanently change my default leader note font (to Swis721 LtCn BT). I have tried setting it in dimstyle as you do in vanilla AutoCAD and as suggested previously in these forums but this didn't work. Apparently the change method is done differently in AutoCAD Mechanical.

I would appreciate someone advising me how. I am using 2009 version.

Try your options-->AM Standards tab

That doesn't work, or at least doesn't alter the leader note font.

In the AM Standards you have to click on the name of your standard in the right side of the dialog box, then you change the Text Style...but you have to have a Text Style set up for that font before you enter this area. Type ST and create a Text Style with your font, set the height to 0 and then use that in the AM Standard dialog.

While I don't necessarily agree with your font choice, this is how you would change it. I try to stay to fonts that exist on any system especially when i start collaborating data.

Thank you Mark for your reply, however you lost me after the 4th word. By 'standard' do you mean ISO, ANSI. Where do I set up the text style?
