Extracting Room Information

I need to generate a table that includes the Room Number, Room Description, Room Billing Code and the Square Footage for Hospital that has 12 floors more rooms than I can count. I am planning on using an attribute to define this information. Is there a way to extract the areas of each room and insert it automatically into the block attribute.

Is there a better way to do this? Should we invest in Autodesk FM or something similar?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
