Have you ever drawn a bunch of walls and want to flip several of them, only to find that instead of leaving the wall where it is positioned, it actually mirrors it on the outside core boundary.

So now all your walls are not in the correct place anymore.

I would love the option to flip wall oreintation, just the wall mirrors but doesn't change it's location.

Does that even make sense? heh

Yes it makes sense and I'm with you.

It was the same with Autodesk ADT.

The only way is if your lock line is centred, but most times I lock to outside of core also.

Give this a try:

Select the walls
Edit properties, changing Location line to Wall Centerline
Flip Orientation
Edit properties, changing Location line back to whatever it was before

So howbout a jazzy new feature that does that for you in the next build? :) Take out the whole, do this , then this, then that, then back.

Imagine how fun that would be for a whole bunch of walls :D

This is somewhat related...

When we place walls with asymmetrical construction (i.e. shaftwall), we're typically in a Coarse view so it's tough to determine which orientation the wall is being placed. It would be nice to have some sort of temporary icon or symbol (like the control arrows) that indicates Inside/Outside when placing wall elements.
