If you have had problems with licensing not sticking. Try this.

One other thing to try is Running Ecotect as an Administrator. By default programs do not run as a full administrator on Windows Vista or Windows 7. I would suggest right clicking on Ecotect, and selecting the Run as administrator option. Once this is done, go through the process to enter the serial number (if prompted). Close out of Ecotect, relaunch it (again using Run as administrator), and see if you are still prompted for the serial number. If you are not prompted for the serial number when you use Run as administrator, try launching normally, and see if the issue has been cleared.
