I have any simple 2D Frame, in left side beams are connected with columns and in right side beams are adjoined into wall.
The distribution form of bending moments My make mee very confuse.
I dont know but this happen only in Robot, and also from version 18 until today
I dont know what
I have tested this example with SAP 2000, ETABS, and with many others software, and this all of them have been nearly equal, but in yes in Robot
Look at attached image

I forgotten to say you the values of My at connections nodes with wallls are very small.

I have checked same model with robot 2011 and I found that It is working correctly
the moment at left side of beam usually equals to the moment at wall side

I suggest to check the following
1- the inertia of columns
2- the thickness of wall
3- the material of wall

try to use samll size of column (small inertia) and use thicker wall 30cm or more
and check once more

This is not the right way to model the connection between wall and beam.
You should check the manual and see what kind of finite elements robot uses and then model it properly ,maybe using rigid links or auxiliary linear elements.
I suggest if you are new to finite element analysis to have a look at "finite element design of concrete structures" by G.A. Rombach where among others such problems are being described.

My dear
I'm ver familiar with finite elements methd,
I know that FEM of robot - shell type have 6 degrees in every node.
The same aproach is solved by sap 2000,ETABS , TOWER , .... and results are almost same in left side and in right side.
Column dimensions are 30x30cm, Beam dimensions are 30x45, and thiknes of wall is 30 cm,
As for RSA 2011 i dont know, ( i havent try in RSA 2011, but in RSA 2010 yes ).

By the way, the same model with all same comditions, with other software

Can you attach the rsa file?

I see the moment on first floor beam

Please verifiy the release of end joint may you release the moment of the beam wt the node that conect beam with the wall

second issue let me see the shear force on the beams

third point verifiy that you prepare a correct meshing with the wall and beam
but 99.9% program is working properly
because many times I got like these type of results AND Finally i discovered that I did a very hidden mistake If you send amodel I can help

My dear
Belive mee, i have verified all of things that you have proposed.
I'ts error of program ( or anything else )
Maybe in version 2011 this is solved ( i hope soo), beause i hav'nt try with RSA 2011.
But if u have version 2010 or an earlier version, you clearly can verify that.

This type of problem i have discussed in many others forums and with some other colllegues, and they have verify that .
Again if u have version 2010 or an earlier version, you can verify that.
I hope if this is solved in RSA 2011 and i will be very happy.

Personally i do'nt modell connection of wall with beams in this way, but it must be an optional, and moments must have more big values than that.

By the way if u can upload an foto of your structure (My) with RSA 2011.
Many Thanks

zero length
it is a seriuos matter
I verify and I will reply to you my results and conclusions

Length zero, robot may have some issues but accuracy is not one of them.
You should model correctly the connection and then if you are still in doubt verify the results by modeling the wall with linear elements and rigid arms, the difference should be less than 3-4%.
