irregular gable roof

I have a gable roof where the ridge does not sit in the middle of the house. One side of the house has a top plate of maybe only 6' and the other side is 8'. Also, the roof on one side of the ridge is wider and the other side short. How do I create this?

Any ideas?

when in sketch mode for the roof, select the sketch line on one side of the roof and look at its properties. You can set a parameter for Plate Offset from Base. This allows you to make the plate on one side 2 feet higher than the other side, and will then shift the ridge off-center when you finish the sketch.
