I could use some help here I have a rural 3 leg intersection and my main alignment or road is super elevated 4% in the middle of the curve I have a side road coming in on the outside of that super I have been unsuccessful in getting C3D to model this correctly, I need to know if it's my lack of experience with the software or is it something that is difficult to get C3D to do? and if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I've been contemplating the senario myself.

I would:

Create an assembly called "MASTER" with a lane on both side. Set the lane widths to 30m on both sides.

Create a second corridor along the same mainline alignment and profile..and name it "MASTER MAINLINE"

Superelevate "MASTER MAINLINE" with the same as you real mainline corridor

Create a top surface from "MASTER MAINLINE" called "MASTER SURFACE"

Now when you tie that third leg in...sample the "MASTER SURFACE" in your curb return profiles and third leg mainline profile...and match your design profile grades to come in at the same superelevated rate.
