hi frnds..
i am looking for xlist,layer isolate lisps. i dont have express tools installed. if some one can help me.(sending links/lisp). that will b a great..thanks in advance..

Check out Cadalyst: Get the Code (http://newsline.cadalyst.com/code/). Browse by topic and select layers. There you will get a list of all kinds of routines for layers. Including one that isolates layers.

Just out of interest what version of AutoCAD are you running?

If AutoCAD 2004 or 2005 you have Express Tools just need to load them from the installation CD.
