I'm using AutoCADLT 2005 - when plotting from paper space the viewport window outline shows - how do I turn this off? Thanks, Wayne.

create a seperate layer for the vport and make the layer "no plot"
there are many solutions to this problems using "search" option...

hope this helps

You can do that one of two ways, it's been a while since I've used LT but besides the 3D and lisp it used to function the same way as regular autocad, put the viewport on it's own layer (ex-layer Mview) and go to the layer manager and click on the layer, scroll across and click on the little printer where it says "plot" when you click on it a little red line will appear on the printer, sets the layer not to plot. If that option isn't available, change the layer of the viewport to "defpoints"- it doesn't plot. good luck

Another option is to have the viewport on a separate layer and freeze it.

I wouldn't recommend placing anything on the Defpoint layer. This has the potential to cause problems. Check out this thread Zoom in PS causes lockup (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=12260&p=72604)

I didn't know that, thanks for the info.... don't do that just out of habit...because I was trained not to put anything on defpoints, but I've had alot of jobs come across my desk that are set up that way, thought it was a good idea.
I'm going to try running "audit" on an old job that's set up that way...see what happens

Have a good one, Mike
