XREF Corridor Snap?

I am trying to dimension some corridor radius' in Civil 3D 2011. I am unable to snap to corridor feature lines if it is XREF'd in a drawing. I had previously (Civil 3D 2009) traced polylines to recreate the radii so that I could dimension, but now I am having no luck trying to snap on to the corridor.

Any suggestions, work arounds, or is there a better way to permorm my task?

Hmmm, I was going to say something about how you should do this or do that but, it doesn't seem to work for me either. Very odd. Perhaps you could open a support request with Autodesk.
