Bar description

Hi all,

Im a new user and I have an question.

I would like to create manually bar descriptions where their symbols shows outside of the beam. Well, is possible to create it using macro to auto-create formwork with rebars.

The attached image show my intension using that macro and I would like to know how to do this manually.

Hi
THere is a button in the "Reinforcement Definition" tab called Reinforcing bars-symbol. Push that button, select the reinforcement you want to be taken out , and ASD wil do it for you.

Is possible create it automatically? Some like "press one button and all symbols are created". Or how can I configure an template such that when I choose in RSA to create drawings in ASD all bar symbols is automatically created in ASD.

I don't know about such automatic function. What I have known so far is tah you can present bar desription only from a bar, which is drawn with shape - for example - you cannot present bar description from a crossection, where bars appear as dots. Or if you draw bars that appear only in section view, you won't be able to get their description, unless you draw their shape.
