Hello,
I am trying to import lights from Revit into Ecotect using the gbXML file format. The end goal is to create Radiance images of the combined electric and daylighting in the room.

I have sloped and flat ceilings. I have inserted 2x4 fixtures into the Revit ceilings and assigned IES files to them. My room is defined by the ceilings since this is an important part of my daylighting design and I want them to import into Ecotect for analysis.

Problem 1: When I import the gbXML file into Ecotect, the IES file does not come with the lights.

Problem 2: Also, Ecotect cuts a hole out of the ceiling where the lights are and this hole lets in daylight.

Suggestions?
Thank you, Jill
