I have refreshed the com center and have not received anything new since 11/1/04. It says "patchlist download error" at the top of the menu box. Is there a problem with my program?

Hi Mike.
I have been having this problem for months. I just went from Zone Alarm to Norton Internet Security yesterday. I went to the link you gave. There is a test of sorts there and my PC failed to connect on the HTTP part but did connect on the ftp part. I brought up Com Center again on ACAD LT, clicked the patchlist error (which is also a link) and got the following:
"Patchlist Download Error
The Live Update patch list is unreadable.
Please restart your application, launch the Communication Center again and click the Refresh Content button. This will download the patch list again.
If your Network Administrator has directed Live Update to a local server, that patch list may be incorrectly formatted."
Autodesk says the update needs prot 80 for HTTP and 20 and 21 for ftp. I checked the port usage on Norton IS, and can't make head nor tails.
Any ideas, Mike.

Pass, I've never used Norton Internet Security.... have you tried Symantec Support Pages -
