Being a former Eagle Point user, I am now new to C3D. I am trying to create an assembly that keeps a 4:1 foreslope from a shoulder point down to a v-ditch whose grade is controlled by a profile and then daylight to an existing ground surface. This will allow the offset to the ditch bottom and to the catch point to vary according to how deep the ditch is as defined by the ditch profile. I have tried at least six different subassemblies and none of them do what I want to do. I could do this in a heartbeat in EP, but C3D is giving me fits. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

use a generic Linkwidthandslope on the tool pallete. Then create a feature line for the flowline of your v swale. Then target that feature line for your horizontal and vertical. Or you can also target the ditch CL profile. I think i create short video on my website on this.
