I have linked in a Revit architectural model into a Revit MEP file. After placing spaces, defining zones, and exporting to gbxml I attempted to analyze the model using Green Building Studio. The following error occurred:
" 1.There is too much floor and ceiling area in the gbXML file received by Green Building Studio
◦Floor and ceiling area = 1,879 m2
◦Building area = 1,149 m2
The floor and ceiling area must be within 20% of the building area to perform meaningful energy analysis."
I have checked my model and all spaces are constrained by room bounding elements. Has anyone come across this error?
