Take Navisworks to "The Cloud"

Wondering about being able to use a website like 2nd Life only more secure where we can load a model from NW for collaboration between geographically separated offices. Should be able to see the actual model, pan around and move through it. Possibly have viewpoints set up. Also have a list of users that are currently in the model looking at different things so you can chat with them to discuss interferences, drawing updates, etc.

Even running it on an internal website would work. Perhaps working alongside a website like Buzzsaw would keep it in the Autodesk family?

I don't see that happening anytime soon, have you looked at Horizontal Glue? (http://www.horizontalsystems.com/index.php/products/glue-platform) I've been testing it for a few months, it's not as good as Navisworks for clash detection but they are getting there fast
